2K-V reducer is a new type of planetary drive,which is developed on the basis of cycloiddrive.It has a serial advantages,such as high transmission accuracy,wide range of transmissionratio,high torsional stiffness,high capacity of impact resistance,compact structure,little lostmotion, small volume,light weight and high transmission efficiency etc.So it has been widelyused in many industrial fields.2K-V reducer is being studied on industrialization in Chinapresently. This paper makes some theoretical analysis and experimental study on transmissionprecision for2K-V reducer,which is combined with the project of National high technologyR&D Program.Firstly,the structure and transmission performance of2K-V reducer are introduced as wellas the principle of transmission precision of2K-V reducer.The virtual modeling system is madeup of SOLIDWORKS software and MSC.ADAMS software.The3D solid model of2K-Vreducer is imported into MSC.ADAMS,after it’s built in SOLIDWORKS.The joints,moment andSolid to Solid Contact are appended via MSC.ADAMS.So virtual prototype of2K-V reducer isdone.Dynamics simulation is carried out and transmission ratio is analyzed.The result shows therigid body system is correct.The transmission error curves in every kind of clearance areobtained by simulation.A high precision system is developed for2K-V reducer used in industrial robot,by whichthe transmission precision(including lost motion,torsion stiffness and transmission error) ofdelicate reducer can be tested.The experimental comparison researches of several internationalcongeneric reducer prototypes and2K-V reducer prototypes of independent development areconducted by the transmission precision testing system for delicate reducer,further more the lostmotion and torsion stiffness curves and the transmission error curves are drew.Every lost motionand torsion stiffness curve for2K-V reducer is processed and analyzed by different treatment. Itwill be more reasonable to process the torsion stiffness curves by averaging method.The testresults indicate that the lost motion accuracy of2K-V speed reducer made in China comes up tothe requirements of international standards through comparative analysis.After the transmissionerror curves for2K-V reducer are processed and analyzed,the results indicate that the cranks andcycloids are the central parts for the transmission error of2K-V reducer.The results of this paper can provide important guide for improving the transmissionprecision of2K-V reducer and realizing localization of2K-V reducer with high accuracy.
