With increasing the scale of highway network in our country, the transport willbecome more and more advanced, road users of the travel demand has been from thebeginning of the travel convenient steering safety, smooth, fast, comfortable,harmonious and efficient. At the same time, the highway in our country has importanttransportation, strategic role, constitute the skeleton of state road arteries ofcommunication, how to guarantee the highway safety and efficient operation so as toplay its proper role, traffic safety facilities will undoubtedly play a crucial role. Tomake the traffic safety facilities can play the biggest role, optimization of trafficsafety facilities carried out analysis and study is very necessary.This article first analyzes the status of freeway traffic safety facilities, putsforward all kinds of problems of traffic safety facilities set up; Second, peopleconsider driving the demand for traffic safety operation, and in view of the problem tooptimize the location of traffic signs, roadside guardrail minimum length, the centralisolation belt of the height of the fence, guardrail transition section guardrail end,anti-glare board Settings, fenders, Settings, and so on, studied the speed limit sign oftimeliness and line selection of materials, speed hump set mode, etc.; Again,structuring the highway traffic safety facilities evaluation system and evaluationmodel, and based on the evaluation of freeway traffic safety facilities managementsystem is established; Finally, using the established evaluation system and model,evaluated the shenmu to mansion valley of freeway traffic safety facilities, the actualresults have been achieved, shows the practicability of this system.
