With the rapid development of economy and the construction level of highway isimproved, the number of long highway tunnel construction project is increase; the probabilityof fire in road tunnel is also increasing. As the tunnel complex structure and poor ventilationconditions, tunnel fire generated large smoke, high temperature, low visibility, fire in tunnelspread fast, and it is difficult for people in road tunnel fire evacuation and fighting, tunnel firecan also cause structural damage. The consequences are serious once the tunnel fire happened.Complementary ventilation tunnel has an additional ventilation cross-hole, the ventilationnetwork is more complex, so the research on fire development and rescue strategy forcomplementary ventilation tunnel is necessary.In this paper, the fire ventilation local three-dimensional numerical simulation by usingfluent software based on Da bie Shan tunnel. The paper analysis the smoke and temperaturefield on Da bie Shan tunnel fire transient and steady state under different wind velocity.Summary the distribution of smoke concentration and temperature, provide technical supportfor complementary double-hole network ventilation rescue.The on-site fire smoke test was taken in Da bie Shan complementary double-holenetwork ventilation. The smoke test is divided into three different conditions by differentwind velocity and different smoke concentration. The paper analysis the smoke spread anddistribution law under different conditions, verify the smoke extraction and smoke transferfunction of complementary duct. The result of on-site fire smoke test and numerical simulateresult were analyzed.The paper research the complementary double-hole network ventilation tunnel fireprotection and rescue strategies based on numerical simulation and on-site test. Analysis theventilation rescue strategy for rescue escape stage and exhaust stage, obtain the differentrescue plan for different stage.The prevention and rescue plan has practical significance to da bie shan complementarydouble-hole network ventilation tunnel. It enables staff to make the correct judgment andminimize the personnel and vehicle losses once the tunnel fire happened. The researchconclusions provide basis for the study of Complementary ventilation tunnel fire also hasimportant significance.
