Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, the applied conditions of corrugated steel structure at domestic and abroadis introduced, and this topic introduced it from six aspects which are location, inspectionprocedures, survey results, preliminary conclusions, ratings of the selected site, siteinvestigation of the raw data in the investigation of usage condition in overseas. This subjectintroduced application examples of the corrugated steel structures in different regions in thedomestic investigation. Corrugated steel pipe culvert has a strong ability to adapt to thedeformation according to the application effect of the corrugated steel structures at domesticand abroad. The classification and type selection of corrugated steel bridge structures wereintroduced in detail in this paper. According to the study of Inner Mongolia geological andenvironmental conditions, the using corrugated steel bridge structure in Inner Mongolia canplay its excellent ability of deformation compatibility and anti-fatigue performance, and at thesame time it also has the advantages of simple construction, shorter working-time andconvenient transportation.The main structural parameters of the corrugated steel small bridge are spans, arch shape,rise-span ratio and the section types of the corrugated steel. By using much mature finiteelement analysis models to research the parameters’ influence on structures, the suitablemodality of the corrugated steel small bridge can be recommend in Inner Mongolia and otherwestern regions. By using the finite element model transform constraint form of the skewbackto simulate articulated and rigid joint, which can be used for comparing the displacement,stress, arch foot’s counterforce, and then the more suitable support styles can be selected. Thecomposition and quality of filler above the arch and the filling soil of the embankmentabsolutely determine the force condition and stability of the structures. The influence of soil’scompactness and the construction process on structures’ mechanical properties and stabilitycan be obtained by changing the structural parameters of the FEA models.
