With the rapid development of express way construction in China,more and more road tunnel will bebuilt in the next deeade.The inner space of the tunnel is strait,closing and with serious noise pollution,concentrated vehicle and great traffic flow.The vehicle is frequent slowdown and accelerat at the tunnelintake port,which may easily result in traffic accident.Once vehicle be in trouble and bringfire,the flowingand diffusing flammable liquid may overspread firebehaviour and serious threat the life of staffs andother vehicle.The asphat pavement is beautiful,comfortable driving,convenient maintenance and becomemain road pavement material.Now,asphalt pavement construction mostly adopts hot mix type,theinternal.Temperature is far higher than open construction temperature and with permeatingfume.Therefore,inorder to supply correlation technique support for tunnel construction,it needs to exploit akind of environment-protecting, energy-saving, flame-retarded,noise reduetion and skid resistaneemulti-functional asphalt pavement materal.The research is based on special study technology outline of segment immersed tube tunnel pavementof island-tunnel engineering-principle parts of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB). According tospecial condition of segment immersed tube tunnel pavement of HZMB, the study compared selected flameretardants and warm mix agent,to test and analysis flame-retardant asphalt oxygen index, studied the warmmix asphalt mixture cool down interval, compared retardant and warm mix asphalt properties and studiedthe asphalt pavement on the flame retardant. Through a lot of experiments, we determined the flameretardant dosage and compaction on warm mix and flame retardant asphalt mixture. Has been clear aboutthe flame retardant、warm mix additives impact on road performance of asphalt mixture. Combine disasterprevention and mitigation performance when under the emergency condition of fire disaster of the flameretardant pavement in tunnels. For the HZMB asphalt pavement to provide a suitable mix design.
