| With the development of highway transportation business,modified asphalt has beenwidely used more and more.Owing to the excellent property of domestic natural asphalt,it isnecessary to study modified asphalt performance with natural asphalt.Based on the research progress of natural asphalt in China and abroad,Plenty ofexperiment is carry out in combination with theory analysis in this article.Through theresearch of adding domestic natural asphalt of different quantity to more than ten kinds ofbasic asphalt,some conclusions can be obtained that the natural asphalt can improve andenhance several qualities of the basis asphalt greatly,such as sensitivity fortemperature,durability of high-temperature, resistance to aging and adhesionproperty.Furthermore,with the increase of a quantity of the natural asphalt,the effectimprovement is more obvious,but the effect to the low-temperature performance is notgood.According to the modified effect to various asphalt binders,some basis asphaltcategories which have good modified results in both high-temperature and low-temperaturedurability are selected under proper amount of the natural asphalt to study the roadperformance of modified asphalt mixture.Under the same condition of aggregates andgrading,experiment results show that modified asphalt mixtures present some excellentfeatures,such as high-temperature stability,low-temperature stability,and good water-resistantability due to natural asphalt itself behaves.From the change of the asphalt composition and property of the fore-and-aftmodification,this paper analyses mechanism of performance improvement by componentanalysis and theory analysis.It is proved the road petroleum asphalts mixed with some naturalasphalt can form a uniform and steady mixture systems because different asphalts amongnatural and road petroleum asphalts have same components.It is rich in content of Asphalt andResin that the natural asphalt can improve the composition and property of the road petroleumasphalt so that the modified asphalt binder and mixture get some good performance. |
