Cantilever construction method is one of the main construction methods for modernlong-span continuous rigid frame bridge. In order to ensure that the linear and strainedcondition attain the design demands, we must monitor linear and strained condition in theconstruction process. And efficient monitoring theory and computational methods are the keyissues which need to solve recently.In this paper we choose the construction phase linear control of long-span continuousrigid frame bridge as the theme and choose Ren River Special Bridge in BaoMao Highway asthe prototype, sum up the theory of monitoring on the construction of long-span PCcontinuous rigid frame bridge, and then we build the computational model by MIDAS/Civil,which is a special civil engineering design software for structural analysis andoptimization. We research impact law and the calculate method by many factors, such asweight, pre-tension, concrete shrinkage and creep, hanging basket, wet weight of concrete andsecond phase permanent load after bridge, etc. This provides a reasonable basis for theelevation in every construction phase in reality.The research results of this paper to guide the construction of long-span continuous rigidframe bridge has reference and application value, and it has been used in the construction ofthe Ren River Special Bridge in BaoMao Highway.
