On the loess plateau since the earlypleistocene were deposited hundred meters thick loess, covers nearly6%of land area in our country, theYellow River from the stream, gave birth to the unique culture of ShanBei, YangShao, MaJiaYao culture, etc.But on this beautiful land, due to the strong weathering erosion, formed thousands of groove under the actionof natural scene of mountains and valleys broken, high and steep, long form of the loess slope everywhere,after the destruction caused by the tragedy more shocking.Broken loess plateau region, combined with rainfall concentrated, and the engineering properties ofloess with water after the change is great, in the region of the loess tableland, etc. With high and steep slopeslope instability of landslide formation, the most easily at the same time because of the loess plateau regionhuman activity is increasing in recent years, formed a lot of artificial high slope is often because they have noscientific management and produce damage, cause a lot of losses of lives and property. The emergence of alarge number of high and steep slope make people constantly look to new methods, new technology of theloess slope stability problems urgently need to old data processing.A lot of research have showed that the slope stability calculation accuracy, the difference caused bydifferent methods limit within5%~10%, because of the difference of computed with different strengththeories and as high as30%. Therefore, this article research content is mainly physical model test scheme andthe design and production planning of the loess slope slope model test platform, to support the unifiedstrength theory was applied to the loess of three-dimensional slope stability analysis research work. And thefollowing results are obtained.1. From the perspective of natural analogy, combined with the existing technology, are discussed indetailed technical scheme comparison, the planning and design and produced three-dimensional slopedestruction of physical model test platform.2. Combined with experimental phenomenon, data analysis results, verify the test platform can be usedto research and development by the unified strength theory is used to evaluate the stability of slope research.3.
