Photovoltaic(PV) system is currently used more and more widely. It has become an importantpart in the electric network. It is necessary to predict the output of PV system in order to achieve thePV system in a reasonable allocation of the electric network. The output characteristics of the PV system is relative to its irradiance received and itsoperating temperature. This article set a five-parameter model and a prediction model of PV modelin the chapter II. The model selects actual measurement data for the basis for calculation, andcorrects the compensation coefficient. Output of different types of PV modules in different regionscan be well predicted. The results show that the prediction error near the maximum power point ofthe model is less than5%, reach engineering applications accuracy requirements.Since the prediction model of PV modules need to use the operating temperature of the PVmodule, the prediction of module operating temperature become an important question for research.Chapter III presents two methods to predict module operating temperature. Compared both theadvantages and disadvantages, the author establish an module to calculate the module operatingtemperature based on the energy conservation equation. The prediction method has good accuracyof the working temperature of modules. The I-V curve is predicted accurately when we use theoperating temperature predicted.Single PV module I-V curve are predictable, but we should predict the I-V curve of PV array. The chapter I-V introduces the relationship of PV array and a single PV module on the I-V curve.Calculate the I-V curve of the PV array under the conditions of the partial shadow. Build a PV arraysimulation platform. Simulation results show that the I-V characteristic calculation method of thePV array in partial shaded conditions has a high accuracy.
