The Guangdong Gymnasium Building Adaptive Research Function Modules

As athletics being industrialization and marketization, the requirements ofstadium are increasing. Hence, the functions of stadium are more and more diverse andcomplex. Being a place for competitions and activities, stadium should be adaptive todifferent need of people. By studying the location，organization of seats and theaccessory space, this thesis attempts to summarize the integration of diverse functionsand the reasonable layout of several middle or big scale stadiums build from2001-2012in Guangdong province, summaries and explores the Adaptive design of thelocation, organization and accessory space.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part includes Chapter1and Chapter2. Chapter1is a preface, the overview of the background of function adaptation study，the statement of the range, purpose, value and method of study, and the summary of thestructure of this thesis. In Chapter2，ifrstly, through comparison with stadiums in andoutside china, it indicates the process, condition and future of development of stadiums.Second, it analyzes the impetus of the development of stadium in China from thechange of the structure and demand of consumption as well as the industrialization andsocialization of athletics. At last, basing on the background and impetus which arestated previously, it raises a concept, the function adaptation of stadium.The second part is Chapter3which is the main and important content. By thecomparison and analysis of the location, organization and accessory space (pavilion,VIP area，athlete area, medium area，administration area, operation area and securityarea) of several middle or big scale stadiums build from2001-2012in Guangdongprovince, it concludes the organization of diverse functions and what the reasonablelayout is.The third part is Chapter4，By the research and analysis of several middle or bigscale stadiums build from2001-2012in Guangdong province in the first three chapters.This chapter summaries and explores the Adaptive design of the location, organizationand accessory space.
