Since the increasingly complex realistic motion law and the high realistic motionaccuracy, it is hard to meet the design requirements only by designing mechanical systems. However, the realistic engineering products are usually mechatronic products, since theinteraction between mechanical systems and control systems in mechatronic products, thecollaborative optimization of mechanical structure and control parameters should beconsidered in the design of mechatronic products.Considering the close interaction among shape parameters, dynamic parameters andcontrol system parameters, a co-simulation based collaborative optimization process andits software framework which is suitable for mechatronic products design is presented inthis thesis.First, the collaborative optimization process and its software framework formechatronic products, which coordinate the shape, dynamic parameters and controlsystem parameters is presented. The mechanical and control system of a mechatronicproduct can be matched using the presented process. Then, the time consuming of control system parameters optimization process is reducedby system identification which simplifies the mechanical system rigid-flexible hybriddynamic model. Finally, using the controlled slider-crank mechanism as example, topology optimizationof connecting rod, dynamic parameters optimization of mechanical system and PIDparameters optimization of control system are achieved using the presented collaborativeoptimization process and its software framework. The validity of the collaborativeoptimization process is verified by the comparison of step response curves, thecomparison of mechanical system dynamic performance, and the comparison of the strainenergy of the flexible part.
