TBM(Tunnel Boring Machine) is an integrated equipment which accomplishescontinuous operations with mechanical crushing rock, muck removal and shoring. Theinclinometers are responsible for measuring of pitch angle and roll angle, and play a keyrole in the measurement of attitude angles of TBM. During the tunneling process, TBMsuffers larger vibration and impact, because it’s construction environment is mostlymountains which is quite different from the ordinary shield tunneling machine whose iscity soft soil, and the vibration and impact will be transmitted to inclinometers. It willhave a strong effect on the correct output of inclinometers in the position and orientationmeasurement system. Based on the principle of wavelet transformation and vibrationisolation, this paper presents a vibration error compensation method of inclinometers toreduce vibration error and fulfill the accuracy requirements of the attitude angles of TBM.By the numbers, this paper analyzed the output response of inclinometers in differentvibration environment with error analysis, including different vibration frequency,different amplitude, different vibration model and different vibration direction. Itdiscovered the rule of inclinometer resonance. With the application of vibration isolationmethod, reduced the vibration error of inclinometers and migrated the resonancefrequency of inclinometers to keep away from the quondam.With the application of different digital filter technology, the output signal waschanged to be steady, and the wave intensity was decreased also. With the comparison ofdifferent digital filter method, the method of wavelet filtering was proved to be better thanKalman filtering.The actual working conditions was simulated in the end of this paper, the data ofangle continuously changing experiment of inclinometers in vibration environment wasanalyzed and processed with the method of wavelet filtering. With the combination ofvibration technology and wavelet filtering technology, the vibration error of inclinometerscan be eliminated in any angle in time to achieve the purpose of output calibration.
