| Washout is the major damage form for road engineering,it greatly affect normal traiffctransportations. Investigating washout type of road and researching washout formationmechanism for highway area have important meaning to prevent the occurrence of roadwashout. The thesis takes Jilin province highway engineering as the research object, through alot of on the spot investigations and study,It summarizes the washout types of local highwayroadbed and bridge culverts and analyzes reasons for washout, simultaneously,it study theimpact on slope stability for highway roadbed speciifc humidity with the ifnite elementanalysis model,Through study, it found:1. the roadbed washout positions of Jilin Province’s state andprovincial main roads are mainly concentrated in the narrow valley embankments along theriver (river sharp turn area) and at the bridgehead embankments; although county and valleyroads is lack of preventive measure due to fund limitation’, its great iflling and digging isa few, so it’s roadbed washo’ut isnt severe than state and provincial roads2. washout ofhighway bridge culverts of state and provincial main roads mainly occurs at cone slope andbridgehead approach area, and county and village roads often occur entirely wash off ofbridge culverts due to small scale projects such as short bridge length and heights.3. stabilityof roadbeds which is along river and valley decreased with increasing speciifc humidityFor reducing highway washout, highly fill and deeply dig should be avoid in roadbeddesign and specific humidity should be controlled. The portions of bridges and culverts whichis tend to be washed by river should be strengthen protection, and funding for low level roadstructure should be increased, and management maintenance and service for later structureshould be valued. |
