In the shipbuilding process, hull welding butt welding is one of the most common ways,there is inevitable in after welding, welding residual stress and deformation of weldments.The welding residual stress and deformation has become one of the important factorsaffecting performance and construction precision control using the hull. Therefore, toeliminate the harmful hull structure welding residual tensile stress, the ship can not onlygreatly improve performance, improve the fatigue performance of welded joints, but also forthe realization of shipbuilding accuracy very favorable control. At present, there are manymethods and measures to eliminate welding residual stress, such as heat treatment,mechanical stretching method, vibration aging method and the ultrasonic impact method,ultrasonic impact residual stress relieving and hammer has a mechanism co nsistent hammerand shot impact method, but the ultrasonic impact method has good flexibility, easyoperation, high efficiency, low cost, wide range of use and many other advantages, is animprovement of the welding residual stress distribution at home and abroad in recent yearsmany studies, methods to improve the fatigue life of components.In this paper, by using the finite element software ANSYS, the numerical simulationhas been done on the welding process and the ultrasonic impact method to eliminatewelding residual stress. According to the test as the basis, combined with the process ofultrasonic impact tests were conducted on the numerical simulation of the Q235steel buttwelding, using ANSYS thermal analysis module to simulate the welding process weldingtemperature field, and then on the basis of thermal-stress coupling analysis of structure,butt welding joint of three-dimensional stress field finite element simulation, analysis andresearch to the temperature field of welding process and the stress and strain field of law,and combining with the theoretical and experimental analysis of numerical simulationvalidity and agreement, and prepare for simulation of ultrasonic impact treatment process.By eliminating the mechanism and process of residual stress for treatment of ultrasonicimpact, combined with the contact algorithm of ANSYS application software for analysis,the welding stress field simulation based on ultrasonic impact treatment process wassimplified simulation, impact depth process through the analysis of contact numericaladjusting ANSYS, similar to that of numerical the test results provide theoretical support forfurther, optimization of the ultrasonic impact mechanism numerical research andtechnology.
