Dynamic sliding bearing is widely used in various fields, so it’s inevitably affectedby the partial load condition which causing the vibration of the sliding bearing, wearand tear, lower efficiency and big noise. But currently, in most development of slidingbearing experimental device is used to study the existence condition of the oil filmpressure. Even if there are some experiment devices which are used to study theinfluence factors of oil film pressure, their structure used to support shaft operation ismostly one side for sliding bearing and the other side for rolling bearing, lacking partialload device. Especially used to study the influence of partial load conditions on thesliding bearing experiments are deficient. Therefore it’s so indispensable to establish thedynamic pressure bearing test bench to study the influence of the partial load conditionson the oil film pressure.This article has developed a dynamic pressure sliding bearing test bench based onpartial load, at the same time using the Labview software to design a set of collectionsystem, which can realize data acquisition and processing functions. The experimentsystem is mainly used to study the influence of partial load conditions on the oil filmpressure, which can realize the regulation of spindle speed, static load and partial loadtwo ways of load and adjusting its size, can measure dynamic oil film pressure ofbearing and the bearing shell temperature in different working conditions.This article adopts the numerical calculative method and the programminglanguage, to research the oil film pressure based on the partial load from two aspects oftheoretical calculation and experimental test. Under the condition of partial load interms of theory, this article simplifies the Reynolds equation with using the finitedifference method, over relaxation iteration method and the MATLAB softwareprogram, to obtain the oil film pressure in the three-dimensional distribution graphunder different working conditions, and analyzes the effect from partial load conditionon sliding bearings. In the experimental aspect, with the use of established well partialloading dynamic pressure bearing test bench, this article measures the oil film of slidingbearing pressure under different load and speed, thus studying the partial load conditioneffect on the bearing capacity of the sliding bearing. Through two aspects of theory andexperiment, for sliding bearing under the condition of partial load, the bigger rotatingspeed and the smaller load, the bearing capacity is lower, which means that with theincrement of partial load, the system becomes less stable. Sliding bearing oil filmpressure increases with the increase of the static load; speed has less effect on the oilfilm pressure, when the speed is higher, there will be little scope to reduce the oil film pressure; partial load fluctuations impact on the oil film pressure, such volatility alsoincreased with the increase of eccentric load, increasing work load and reduce the speed,can reduce the influence of eccentric load of oil film pressure.Establishing partial pressure sliding bearing experimental system and studyingpartial load condition influence on sliding bearing oil film pressure can help to simulateactual working condition. It will have certain guiding significance and practical valuefor scientific research and teaching.
