Sliding bearing is widely used in large rotating machinery due to its advantages,such as high bearing capacity,long service life,convenient processing and maintenance.The oil film static characteristic and dynamic characteristic determines the motion stability of the rotor system,directly influences the safety and satbilization operation of the equipment.The paper,through a combination of theoretical analysis and calculation and experiment,studies on characteristics of sliding bearing oil film.In order to get the experimental data about the oil film dynamic characteristics and pressure,designed the sliding bearing test bench that could satisfy the experiment requirement.Using 3d drawing software,established 3d model about the main shaft and bearing shell structure of the test-bed.Meanwhile,checked and verified the design by this software.Through theoretical calculation,the oil supply system,loading system and test system of the test-bed were designed.Comparing with traditional sliding bearing test-bed,the advantages of this test bench are floating type loading and multipoint data collection.Therefore,the bearing motion state is more similar with the actual running status and the change of circular and axial oil film pressure can be received more convenient.According to the design of sliding bearing test bench,the matching bearing structure model was established.Based on the analysis of the flow characteristics of sliding bearing and classical Reynolds equation and the use of software simulation numerical calculation,achieved the oil film pressure distribution under different operating conditions,the various factors influence on sliding bearing oil film pressure were analyzed.At the same time,maked the numerical calculation on sliding bearing oil film dynamic characteristics,and the effects of width diameter ratio,clearance ratio and load on the dynamic characteristics of the sliding bearing were analyzed.Based on the sliding bearing oil film static characteristic experiment on the test bench,the experimental data and theoretical simulation results were analyzed.Through theoretical and experimental study,found that oil film pressure increases with increasing of load,however the increasing rate is decreasing.Within the scope of the experiment,the stability of the oil film pressure is more stable along with the increase of load.And along with the increase of load,the theoretical calculation model for the pressure distribution of simulation is closer to the experimental data.The effects on the pressure distribution that caused by ignoring some influence factors is decreasing.With increasing speed,the oil film pressure decreases,the decline rate decreases with increasing speed.Comparing with the medial speed(nearby the critical speed)conditions,stability of oil film is better when it under the condition of low speed and high speed.In the test conditions,the variation trend of relative eccentricity and deviation angle is consistent with simulation.It reflects the reliability of numerical calculation and test bench design is scientific.
