| Air conditioner sound has become one of the important issues that can not beignored in the background of technology development. Air conditioner has greatlyimproved people’s living conditions, and it can make adjustment according to people’srequirements. However, the air conditioner also causes annoyance; although the currentair conditioner has greatly improved the sound quality, people always pursue to controlthe sound according to their requirements. This paper will analyze the sound ofcomprehensive household products, especially for the air conditioners. Aiming atunderstanding the user’s feelings and needs, the research tries to make sound play animportant role in product design.The sound source of the household air-conditioner is analyzed. Through thenear-field measurement method the data are collected and the main sound content isstudied. The collection is for different brands and different frequency, and according torelated sound test standards, the sound samples could be made by sound editing. Thensubjective experiment could be conducted to research on the audio properties andperception.The perception factors of the air conditioners are analyzed. The analysis will beconducted through auditory, vision etc. Combinations of the visual morphological shapeand the auditory will be done, and then auditory experiments would be conducted; thetemperature sensing theory would be used in household air conditioner, to understandthe impact of temperature on the sound; the mask effects and the binaural effect wouldbe used in the design of household air-conditioner, to bring out the method of reducingsound annoyance.From the perspective of human perception, the sound subjective and objectiveevaluation will be conducted. The loudness, sharpness and roughness will be calculatedby Artemis. In the subjective evaluation analysis, the semantic segmentation method,paired comparison method and other methods will be used to obtain the subjectiveresults. Subjective evaluation results are obtained through statistical analysis and othermethods of analysis, and then the right words to describe the sound quality evaluation ofsubjective perception characteristics will be obtained.The interaction design of household air-conditioner sound is done. The soundquality of the air-conditioners will be improved and the annoyance will be reducedthrough strengthening of the simulation environment to reduce air noise. The interactionand operability during using the conditioner will be enhanced through improving theoperation sound. On the basis of sensory, the air conditioner sound design will includethe interaction to enhance the experience and interaction of the sound. The sound andvirtual environments will be combined, to design the perfect household air conditioner audio-visual interactive system. |
