With the continuous development and progress of human society, the requirement of energy isincreasing; In order to alleviate the large demand of energy effectively, new and renewable energymust be developed vigorously. In order to use the resources of wind power effectively, the world’sfirst wind power generation unit has been established by Denmark. With the movement of time, theimprovement of wind power generation system is continuous, and wind power generation has beendeveloped rapidly. However, some places still need be further improved in the application process ofwind power generation, such as the lubrication system. Automatic centralized lubrication system hasbeen used for wind power generation equipment commonly; however, with the continuousdevelopment of centralized lubrication and their applications, more and more shortcomings have beenrevealed gradually. The wind turbines are working in the field all the year round, with the harshenvironment, the reliability of lubrication system has been influenced; At the same time, the lengthyof piping wiring of wind power equipment lubrication adds resistance, the loss of pressure is moreserious, especially in low temperatures, lack of lubrication pump power is even more prominent,which will affect the reliability of the lubrication system.In this paper, the research and development of the automatic lubrication system for wind powergeneration deeply, a new automatic lubrication system has been designed specifically for the yawsystem. Some problems of the traditional automatic centralized lubrication system have been solved,such as the low pressure, flow and the low reliability, achieving a high-reliability, high-flow pumpingunit specifically. And the good results have been reached in the practical applications. This workfocused on the following aspects:Firstly, the development background, as well as its advantages, and hydraulic working principlewhich based on the cylinder drive means of lubrication of the pump has been introduced, through agear pump, solenoid valve, double-pole double-acting hydraulic cylinder, etc., constitute a highlyefficient, high pressure, a large flow of the lubrication pump. According to the hydraulic workingprinciple of hydrodynamic lubrication pump, we do some analysis; and validation hydraulic cylinderdriving mode lubrication pump the feasibility of the principle, validating the principle of the hydrauliccylinder lubrication pump for the driving mode. Secondly, the overall structure of the lubrication pump, which based on the driving mode of thehydraulic cylinder, has been designed. Designing the detailed structure with reasonable verification ofthe key constituent parts, including the design of the double-acting double-rod hydraulic cylinder, thecheck valve, the plunger of lubrication pump, and soon, which is to design a set of integratedhydraulic drive system mainly.Thirdly, the overall control structure of the lubrication pump, which based on the driving modeof the hydraulic cylinder has been designed; and building the overall framework of the control system.The part of the control system and the corresponding implementation function has been describedcarefully; at the same time, the process of designing and function of each function module has beenintroduced. In order to realize the automatic control function truly, the design of hardware circuit hasbeen the foundation, which perfected each function module, and control software has been designed,to meet the automatic process control functions finally.Lastly, according to the own characteristics and the distribution of lubrication points about theyaw system, combined with the actual, supplemented the rear pipes and peripherals, and use the newlubrication pump to build an efficient and intelligent lubrication system.In the end of this paper, it gives an overall summary; summarizing the main points of the full text,analyzing the research results, and pointing out the deficiency and the further work research direction.
