With the development of national economy, the national construction ofconstruction investment proportion is more and more big, in roads, railways, Bridgesand other infrastructure tools is a national traffic artery, its relations with the stateeconomic and trade development, every aspect of people’s lives, therefore, itsinvestment accounts for more than half of the total construction industry investment, itsconstruction attaches great importance to by national leader and project manager. Andproject schedule, cost and quality are three management project management in theeternal goal. In the actual project management, is more schedule cost optimizationmethod is used to manage the three goals, namely, under the premise of qualityassurance, by increasing the compression duration of project activities, cost increase atless cost to meet the requirements of the project construction period schedule shorten.But with the progress of the society, the traditional project schedule optimization theoryand methods of malpractice already cannot satisfy the project parties interests groups tothe largest demand.This paper mainly studied the engineering project construction progress, costoptimization in the time value of money, the improved genetic algorithm (adaptivegenetic algorithm (GA) in progress-cost optimization in the process of solvingapplication in operating income and the project’s impact on project constructionschedule cost optimization.In the first place, by network schedule cost optimization method and progress-cost optimization method based on genetic algorithm (GA) as the foothold andoptimization for the premise, established the mathematical model, and separately with the two methods was used to solve the same case. Through the comparative analysis andcombined with the actual construction situation, found that two optimization methods.Proposed to consider the time value of money used adaptive genetic algorithmimproved progress-cost optimization method.Second, optimize the premise is direct project cost and time limit for a project forthe quadratic function relation, the factor will be the time value of money as theprogress-cost optimization in the process of considering conditions, calculate the bestconstruction progress plan. Respectively from the perspective of the owner and thecontractor perspective, the establishment of the time value of money is the dynamicschedule cost optimization model, in order to minimize the net present value of the costas the optimization goal, using adaptive genetic algorithm to solve.Again, based on the thought of whole life cycle management, considering theoperating period earnings in progress-cost optimization process. Practitioners point ofview, benefits and operational phase of the project construction time limit for a project,this paper analyzes and discusses the relationship between the progress, costoptimization model is built on top of this, using adaptive genetic algorithm to solve. Inorder to obtain a reasonable construction schedule.At last, through the typical demonstrate its schedule cost optimization of bridgeconstruction project process, optimizing the actual model validation results. After phasecontrast analysis considering operating earnings of progress-cost optimization methodthe optimization results more effective.
