Studs are widely used in embedded concrete filled steel tube column node as thestrengthening measures,but there are fewer studies on stress mechanism of this column nodecurrently,and the specific structural requirements are not clear,and the computationalrequirements are still blank,in the design,there are still many problems to be solved.This paperstudied deeply on stress mechanism of this column node based on the early experimentalstudy and theoretical analysis.Based on the test model,this paper established the finite element model withANSYS,introduced the definition of the model unit type,material properties,and the set of realconstant,determined the parameters of ANSYS according to the performance of the nodemodel,then created entity,meshed,set the solve way.At last,this paper testified that the modelcan reflect the real stress state of the node by comparing ANSYS results with experimentalresults.This paper set up a total of112column node model by changing the studs’ number, axialspacing,diameter and buried depth,then analyse the stress nephogram of the node, comparedto a series of nodes’ ultimate load and displacement trend along with the change of theparameter, and studied the damage form of node under static load,blunt sectionlocation,working mechanism and punching resistance,etc,to explore related factorsinfluencing the performances of node.The ANSYS analysis results showed that the numberand diameter of stud had a big influence to the bearing capacity of nodes,increasing thenumber and diameter can improve the bearing capacity of nodes greatly;reduced theembedded depth can improve the bearing capacity of nodes small;and the axial spacing ofstud almost has no influence on the bearing capacity of nodes.Finally,the calculation formulaof the bearing capacity of the column node was obtained by fitting all the data.Through thestudy of the finite element analysis,the author hopes to provide ideas for further analysis ofconcrete filled steel tube column node,and provide the reference for the engineeringapplication of this kind of node.
