The main characteristic of ancient architecture of tang dynasty is the large roof and theeaves far-reaching, so its size is relatively complex. Wind-resistant design of structures is thekey to determine the structure’s roof coefficient of wind pressure and wind load shapecoefficient, however the current structure norms not related to similar ancient building shapecoefficient of the tang dynasty. So the tang dynasty of ancient buildings wind load shapecoefficient of the determination can provide a reference basis of the tang dynasty ancientbuilding repair and the tang-style buildings design. Wind load shape coefficient can beobtained from wind tunnel experiment,but there are laborious, time-consuming, and costly inthe traditional wind tunnel test research, and difficult to simulate the actual wind wind windfield section, and the scale of the model makes the Reynolds number is difficult to achieve.As the rapid progress of computer software and hardware, rapidly increase of computingtechnology and the continuous development of turbulence model, with the computer tosimulate the wind tunnel test is increasingly ripe, and gradually become the most powerfulmeans of structure wind engineering research. In this paper, it is using this numerical windtunnel simulation method to study the wind field around the ancient buildings and obtain thewind load shape coefficient of building.The study is mainly focused on the following aspects:(1) Based on CFD numerical simulation software Fluent6.3for the slope Angle of45°and30°respectively enclosed double slope roof structures are numerically simulated, discuss thesize of the computational domain, mesh size, number and form, the three-dimensionalturbulence model, discrete format selection, boundary conditions and convergence criterion,obtain the TTU wind pressure distribution and average wind pressure coefficient distributionon the surface of the building, the building shape coefficient compared with "load code for thedesign of building structures", demonstrates the feasibility and the accuracy of numericalwind tunnel method.(2) Under the different wind speed and wind direction angle, two kinds of working conditionof complex shape ancient Dingdingmen a numerical simulation of the wind environmentaround the house and describe the complexity of wind flow around buildings and the buildingsurface of the average wind pressure coefficient with the change of wind direction Angle andchange trend, and the wind flow around buildings in the process of relationship with the wind.Pointed out that in different angle of the wind, the weakest part of the structural wind resistance design.(3) Get the wind load shape coefficient diagram which can be directly applied toengineering design, provide a reference for similar ancient building wind-resistant design ofstructures.
