The need for instruction vehicle in the driving school is ever-increasing. Now the electricinstruction vehicles are available in drive training, but the training drivers has a single,common motor controller,there are the differences of operation method between fuel-drivenvehicles and electric vehicles, student’s training effect is very poor. Therefore, it is verysignificant to develop electric-driven instruction vehicles which have the same operationmode with fuel-driven cars while give prominent advantages to zero-emission andnon-pollution.This design relies on Department of Transportation of Shanxi Province “small pure ele-ctric driver-training cars’ development research” project (09-32K) and the national naturalscience fund "the electric car mechanical friction and electrical regenerative braking responseconsistency match mechanism research" project, it bases on restructuring SANTANA LX topure electric training vehicles and PIC single chip microcomputer, according to thecharacteristics of the driving field developed electric drivers Ed motor controller. Proposingcontrol strategy and controller hardware and software are designing. PIC16F886single chipwas used as the central processor. The design of hardware including power supply module,analog and switch quantity signal collection and processing circuit, motor driving modulecircuit and so on; Use charger-optical coupler to solve power interference problem, the CCPmodule control PWM signal output and measuring the motor speed, adopt hysteresiscomparator to realize the signal measurement of main contactor control signal, Use differenceamplifier to realize the current signal sampling measurement. The flowcharts of vehiclecontrol process are written according to control strategy, the software was designed followingthe principle of modularization and structured programming, which is written by C languagebased on Mplab development platform. The main contents include main procedure process,drive module, idle speed stability control, start module, driver module, and protection module.Realizing the vehicle start and idle speed control can achieve the same effect by softwarecontrol program, which makes the operation feeling of electric-driven instruction vehicle thesame as fuel-driven cars.The control system simulation model was builded. Based on series excited DC motor,electric training vehicles and the control strategy of this paper, pure electric drivers Ed drivesystem mathematical model is established. The last, using actual driver circuit parameters forbuilding the controller mathematical model in the SIMULINK, simulating and analysising the result.
