With the development on field of road materials in China, recycled plastic asphaltmixture modifier additive in-depth study of the asphalt mixture and it makes asphalt mixtureperformance improved significantly, slowly coming into view. Because waste HDPE iseconomic and environment protection and can greatly improve the high temperature stabilityof asphalt concrete and resistance to permanent deformation, but as recycled plastic of varyingquality, and the asphalt mixture a small amount of additives can significantly affect roadperformance is quite sensitive to the composition of the plastic, it also requires a moreeffective segregation of indicators.This paper select A, B, C and PR PLASTS four anti-rutting agent (the main componentare HDPE), in the analysis the four additives physical and mechanical properties on the basisof comparison, and combine the various additives concrete high temperature, low temperatureand water stability test with a reference PR standard and draw the relationship of bendingstrength PR> A> C> B and asphalt concrete anti-rutting performance PR> A> B> C. Materialof bending strain PR> C> A> B and low temperature crack resistance of asphalt concrete PR>C> B> A, and this corresponds to additive PD average molecular weight of A> B> C>PR,which concluded:1. Improving the flexural strength of the additive material is conduciveadditives to improve the high temperature properties of the asphalt concrete;2. To take intoaccount the overall performance of asphalt concrete, we need to enhance the additive materialflexural strength and improve its viscosity, elongation at break and other indicators.For the four different anti-rutting agent, comparative study of the types of additives(ingredient and shape), additive dosage, mixing temperature and mixing time of mixingeffects, combined with the asphalt mixture indicators preliminary analysis of anti-ruttingagent mechanism of action. The results show that the waste HDPE embedded squeeze play inthe asphalt mixture, reinforced and cementation and the additive material mechanical strength,elongation at break and viscous directly related to the overall performance of asphalt concrete.Because waste HDPE defects on the mechanical strength and viscosity, this paper studiedthe combination of additives and compound additives of rubber powder asphalt concrete roadperformance and the test results show that rubber powder can be used as enhanced waste HDPE additive material mechanical strength and viscosity modifiers, and high and lowtemperature performance of asphalt concrete has played a good role in the improvement.
