Water supply pipe network is an important part of the city water supply system and playsa significant role in the protection of economic construction and people’s living standards.With the acceleration of Shanyang County’s rapid economic development and modernizationand improving requirements about water, urban water supply network has used for a long time,causing deterioration of water quality and the amount of leakage increases as well as the lackof water pressure, so it is necessary to renovate and expand water distribution system design.Shanyang county is a mountainous city, which is different of plain cities---water supplynetwork extend a large-scale distance, elevation is different seriously and uneven distributionof pressure and so on. Combinating the characteristics of Shanyang County water supplynetwork to design a more economical and reasonable and efficient operation of the pipelinenetwork, in order to get a good economic and social benefits.From the reality of water supply pipe network extension,the city water demand forecastis the basis of expansion optimization of water distribution system reform. Firstly, severalcommon used water demand forecast model are discussed and analyzed,and then introducesthe grey forecasting model and its implementation process, the grey forecasting modelincludes GM(1,1) model, DGM model and Verhulst model, respectively in Shanyang Countywater modeling calculation, after the analysis and comparison, GM (1,1) model and the DGMmodel has higher prediction accuracy, and can be used for the city water consumptionprediction.Then, analyze and discuss the present situation of Shanyang County water supply system,analyze the status quo of data collection, water supply pipeline survey techniques and existingproblems; and on the present situation of water pipelines are the calculation and analysis ofwater hammer, to ensure that the Shanyang County water supply system in a safe and reliablerunning state.Implementation of block management is a difficult process, the establishment ofShanyang County block management system, improve the water pressure, leakage of water and the water quality of water supply network, Shanyang county will be divided into5areas,through the example of Dongcheng District analysis, results show, block to on the waterpressure, leakage of water play a role in improving the certain.Finally, water supply pipe network extension optimization problem is a large mixeddiscrete variable problem, using the MDOD algorithm---the constrained nonlinear mixeddiscrete variables optimum design method, through the establishment of MDOD expansionoptimization algorithm model, starting from a discrete point feasible, along the gradientdirection relative to mixed discrete search, until the minimum value of objective function;through the analysis and comparison of examples, MDOD algorithm saves the network cost.
