In recent years, with the rapid development of the national economy, the sharp increasein car ownership in China. Our country energy crisis is getting more and more seriously andenvironmental pollution is getting worse. Our government and car companies put highattention on natural gas/diesel dual-fuel vehicles. Compared with pure diesel engine naturalgas/diesel dual fuel engine can get better economy and emissions.In the first place, this paper describes working principle and the structure of fuelsupplying system of natural gas/diesel dual fuel engine which is refitted from the mechanicalspeeding diesel engines. The diesel fuel supply system of the fuel supply system is designedinto an electronic supply control system. Then we reasonably select the engine governorcontrol lever position sensor,electronic accelerator pedal and DC motor on the base ofanalyzing the operating characteristics of the diesel injection pump.In the second place, after analyzing the control hardware requirements of fuel controlsystem, this paper uses STC12C5A60S2as the main control chip and the H-bridge driver chipMC33886to drive DC motor. We draw a working schematic of each module of the controlsystem, including PC communication module,the governor lever position signal processingmodule, the electronic throttle pedal position signal processing module, the engine speedsignal processing module, DC motor driving module as well as the engine operating statedisplaying module. Then, we weld a good physical circuit board according to the workingschematic use the C programming language to design control system software.Finally, building a control system test platform on the diesel injection pump test bench,we utilize a digital oscilloscope recording and analyzing the response time of the controlsystem and the stability and reliability of the control system. The results show that thegovernor handle responding action of the electronic throttle pedal time is48ms and governorcontrol lever well follow accelerator pedal. We conclude that the entire control system isstable and reliable.
