With the economic development of Guangdong Province, the road constructionimpressive, but many road overwhelmed early diseases of asphalt pavement, under thecombined effects of transport and the environment, frequent, if not timely maintenance, theroad will lead to structural damage. Therefore, the development or introduction of newtechnology of asphalt pavement preventive maintenance is a priority. Fiber asphalt pavementsurface is not only able to quickly and effectively improve the road surface, and has gooddurability and convenient construction, a series of advantages. However, the fiber asphaltpavement surface with design is still based on the traditional empirical method, Guangdonghot and humid climatic conditions, and heavy traffic can not meet the demand, Foshan "ring"is not only traffic volume and axle-load, coupled with road mostly time in the wet and humidenvironment, it is urgent to develop targeted fiber asphalt chip seal Mix Design Method.Therefore, this paper will focus on the South China hot and humid climatic characteristics ofthe region, combined with material supply situation in the region, to learn from the advancedconcept to carry out the the fiber asphalt pavement surface with the design and constructionof key technology research, for the promotion and application of this new technology hasimportant theoretical and practical significance.In view of fiber reinforced asphalt pavement surface material, the paper first seal coatthe existing bitumen macadam of Guangdong and the surrounding area were investigatedwith the use of raw materials and material reserves, to determine the raw material suitable forhot and humid areas of South China fiber asphalt pavement surface The type of individualraw materials inspection of technical performance, combined with the relevant technicalspecifications, the technical requirements of each raw material. By the amount remaining onthe sieve test and storage stability test of the compatibility between the modified asphaltemulsion of raw materials in the preparation of modifying agents, emulsifying and matrixasphalt, to determine the best compatibility of the material composition, the modified asphaltemulsion preparation process, emulsifier type and dosage, type and dosage of modifiers,oil-water ratio is variable orthogonal test design, analysis, by comparing the test resultsidentified in southern hot and humid areas regional fiber asphalt pavement surface modified emulsified asphalt. Humid and rainy work environment for Foshan Yihuan table, in order tocontrol the bonding properties of the old road with seal coat and for individual materialscohesive performance, fiber and asphalt content ratio K as a control parameter, shear testresults mathematical regression to determine the shear strength value of K, cleaning test theproposed ratio of the optimal value of K, the final order to meet both requirements with shearstrength and montmorillonite rate indicators than as hot and humid areas in South China thebest fit of the fiber asphalt pavement surface ratio, and Mix Design Method based on fiberasphalt pavement surface bonding properties.Physical works on fiber bitumen macadam sealing layer of the key technologies in theconstruction, fiber asphalt pavement surface construction site control technology and qualitydetection methods and index system. It shows the region in the hot and humid South Chinaregion and the promotion of nationwide technical support for this novel preventivemaintenance technology.
