Due to the large number of heavy trucks and complex road alignment,the pavement of mountainous expressway has been in the natural environment of high temperature difference and high humidity for a long time,resulting in more asphalt pavement diseases.Therefore,the maintenance of high-speed pavement in mountainous areas is difficult,and the effect of pavement maintenance is generally poor.For the maintenance level of highspeed asphalt pavement in mountainous areas,the application research on maintenance technology of high-speed pavement in mountainous areas is specially carried out.The main research results of this paper are as follows:Investigate the pavement technology of Shi Yu Expressway(South Bank Fuling Section)in detail,and study the historical detection data of pavement technology.The research found that the PQI,PCI,RQI,RDI and SRI of Shi Yu Expressway(South Bank Fuling Section)showed a slow downward trend in the past five years,of which the SRI declined the most.After taking preventive maintenance measures for the pavement,the RDI and SRI increased significantly,but the RQI increased slightly.Based on the long-term maintenance needs of high-speed asphalt pavement in mountainous areas,a pavement maintenance strategy with low cost and good maintenance effect is formulated.According to the principles of economy,durability and environmental protection,and in combination with new research results of modified asphalt,the easy dense,high elastic and ultra-thin overlay technology is selected as the preventive maintenance measure of pavement.To study the performance of easy dense and high elastic modified asphalt and its mixture,and to conduct road performance test on the application of easy dense and high elastic ultra-thin cover for preventive maintenance of the pavement of Shijiazhuang Chongqing Expressway(South Bank Fuling Section).Through fluorescence microscope and infrared spectrum test,it is found that the easily dense and highly elastic modified asphalt has a dense network structure,forming a stable system,thus improving the performance of asphalt;The high temperature performance,low temperature performance,water stability,fatigue resistance,surface function durability and inter layer durability of easily compacted and high elastic modified asphalt mixture are tested.The test results show that the easily compacted high speed modified asphalt mixture is higher than SBS modified asphalt mixture.Compared with the traditional conventional modified asphalt overlay technology,the easy dense,high elastic and ultra-thin overlay is only 12mm-18 mm thick,but its crack resistance is 4-5 times higher than that of the traditional modified asphalt pavement,and its resistance to reflective cracks of the old pavement is stronger and its durability is better.Due to its high economy and long durability,it can be widely used as a preventive maintenance measure for asphalt pavement.
