Bridge deck pavement is a complex bridge construction projects, key technology, asphaltconcrete pavement damage is very common phenomenon in the current and still is aworldwide technical problems, China’s current specifications for asphalt pavement structuraldesign mainly from the materials used, and the thickness of the other aspects of a practiceguidance instructions regarding the specific design theory and method is also very small. Inthis paper, this grim reality in the previous existing theories, based on experience, a moresystematic and in-depth analysis and resolution of asphalt concrete pavement damaged fourareas: basic properties of asphalt concrete pavement requirements; asphalt concrete pavementtypes and causes premature failure analysis; asphalt concrete pavement of the stress state andcontrol indicators; asphalt concrete pavement design and construction.Based on the pavement data collection and field surveys, systematically expounded theasphalt concrete pavement of new materials and new methods and pavement performancerequirements; summed up the bridge deck and the main types of damage cause mechanism;conducted on pavement mechanics state analysis, through the pavement in the direction of thelongitudinal seam vertical shear force and bending force to the bridge, and non-uniform forcestudy specific types of damage, put forward the corresponding the pavement design andcontrol indicators; systematic summary presented to the asphalt concrete pavementconstruction design of the key issues, combined with physical engineering analysis raises areasonable asphalt concrete pavement construction process, right after the bridge pavementengineering is an important reference significance.
