Along with the economic development, the congestion of urban traffic becomesunacceptable,a large amount of flyovers and viaducts are being built in the urban area ordowntown of a city.To minize traffic disruption, reduce environmental impact, improveconstructability and lower cost,it`s necessary to seek new techniques, new methods ofbridge construction. The technology of assembling prefabricated section in theconstruction place can largely save the onsit construction time, and reach the goals above.Because of its better economic benefit and aesthetic effect, the new construction methodhas became welcomed and used in the civil engineering all over the world. In this thesis, based on the Heng Qing Northern Project in Zhuhai city, several aspectsof research are done as follows:Considering the problems and constraints to the construction of bridges in cities, thisthesis proposes the basic requirements bridge deck section should be followed by andmatters need to be attentioned. And under the guidance of the thought,we make severaldifferent division plans along the axial and horizontal, opt for the option.Combined with characteristics of the project,we create a new method based on thelong and short line precast technology, using the flowchart describe the use of the newapproach in the application of engineering project. brief segments of the project, transportand Assembly, highlight the epoxy joints and shear.Introduce the processing forms of seams and make comparison between finiteelement models(Ring box model and grillage model),make analysis of internal force anddeformation of vertical and horizontal joints. Propos measures to reduce joint impact.
