In recent years, with the development of new theory and new technology, the servo drivetechnology has made remarkable achievements,and has been widely used in CNC machine tools,aerospace technology, robotics and other fields. But our servo drive system is not good as theforeign products whether in performance or stability. Taking the five-axis precision test bench asthe background, using CPSO algorithm as the main algorithm,using DSP and FPGA as masterchips, the PI parameters optimization of the spindle motor servo control system is carried outin-depth research.Firstly, the mathematical model building for PMSM, and the method for motor control andmethod for the inverter was introduced. On this basis, the structure of the control system for thespecial motor was given.Secondly, the standard particle swarm optimization algorithm and its disadvantage of easylocal convergence was studied, and a new CPSO algorithm was given. By correcting globaloptimal particle inertia weight and adding chaos control algorithm in the late of the algorithm,the speed of convergence of the algorithm can be improved, a global optimal solution can be gotand the emergence of local convergence can be prvemented. In this paper, the new algorithm isalso applied for permanent magnet synchronous motor servo control system using Simulinksimulation,and the results show that the new algorithm can be used for the system PI parameteroptimization.Finally, the PMSM servo system is designed, including DSP software part, encoderinterface module and SVPWM module based on the FPGA,and the the peripheral hardwarecircuit. The actual performance test is applied. The result shows that the new algorithm is able tomeet the requirements of PI parameters optimization for PMSM system. The paper can be usedas the basis of the further design.
