With a lack of energy, photovoltaic power generation has become the main form of newenergy power generation, and photovoltaic power plants in the country become more and more.The efficiency of photovoltaic power generation is an important indicator, which could declinebecause of many factors. photovoltaic power plant site factors. Power plant environment is animportant factor. Sand dust would directly coverage the PV modules, and reduce thetransmission rate and efficiency of power generation.Cleaning of the PV modules regularly is particularly important to improve the efficiency ofphotovoltaic power generation. Due to the lack of water resources, we can not use groundwatermuch as clean water. This article studies the photovoltaic array cleaning system which userecycled rainwater as clean water.This article chooses high-performance PLC as controller to design control systems. PLC notonly has the basic logic operations, timing, counting, and also has the powerful features of thedata processing, communications and networking, and is gradually replacing traditional relaycontrol system, widely used in various industrial control field. PLC control system hardwarestructure is composed by PLC S7-200,multiple I/O modules and the peripheral I/0deviceswhich include variety of sensors, motors,limit switches and others. Cleaning process is designedand software programming is completed. Measure the currents of two groups compared modules(one group with a cleaning mechanism) and then make sure if it needs cleaning. In this paper, thecleaning time formula is gave, based on the photocurrent values, which improve the level ofintelligence of the system. Temperature, wind and rainfall affect clean work much are applied oncleaning control, to improve the usefulness of the system.And in this paper, monitoring system is competed for monitoring the operation of thesystem. real-time. This article select the configuration software MCGS to design Man-machineinterface which include master window, the user window, run strategy and others. Then the entiresystem can become as a whole under the coordination of the monitoring software.
