A certain type of cartridge size detection is to determine whether the military classprocessed products qualified. Characterized by detecting the size of the detection, highdetection accuracy and detection difficult. In the present stage, this type of workpiece sizedetection, people still rely mainly on hand to complete. This high-strength, low efficiency ofdetection methods, is bound to introduce artificial subjective factors, resulting in detection oferrors. So for this type of cartridge workpiece size detection, an urgent need to develop adedicated automated testing equipment to replace manual testing.The actual size of the required characteristics for detection cartridge workpiece, theworkpiece summed value for the length, diameter value, diameter value, primers room andwidth values of five size detection. First, analyze and summarize the basis of existingdetection methods and theories to determine the size of each class of the correspondinghardware models. All measurements integrated content designed a comprehensive testingprogram, according to the design plan to build a complete mechanical structure, and toachieve the three-dimensional modeling in Solidworks. Design and development of thelower-position computer PLC control system and machine vision image processing system.Design and development of the school and then the amount of machines under machine PLCcontrol system and machine vision image processing system. Finally, we use the C#programming language combining ACCESS database and HALCON library, jointlydeveloped a set amount of cartridge automatic calibration machine PC control system.This article focuses on the conduct of the cartridge automatically detect the size of thehost machine control system design and development. According to the overall design andbuild a host computer control system framework. And the system is divided into four modules: communication module, data processing module, an image processing module and systemmanagement module, and then elaborate on each of the four modules. And for statisticalanalysis functions of the system, combined with MATLAB Programming analysis andcomparison to verify the reasonableness and accuracy of the cartridge host computer controlsystem for data processing. Workpiece size cartridge technology for the modification, play aguiding significance.This type of detection system on-site commissioning in good condition, and thedetection system has the characteristics of high precision and high reliability, has beensuccessfully used in industrial actual testing.
