| The driving system is one of core components of electric vehicle. Rare earthpermanent magnet synchronous motor is widely used because of a series of advantagesas its high efficiency and good speed performance. However, as the price of rare earthpermanent magnet materials having soared, the cost of permanent magnet synchronousmotor is a liter up. Ferrite permanent magnetic materials are much cheaper comparedwith rare earth permanent. So it is realistically significant that the ferrite permanentmagnet synchronous motor in electric vehicle is researched and developed.Research the project involving electric vehicle driving ferrite permanent magnetsynchronous motor electromagnetic design and optimization, multi-domain simulation, prototype trial and experimental research. First of all, through detailed analysis ofvarious coordination of poles and slots and magnetic field characteristics of somedifferent rotor structures, the most suitable scheme for this issue was determined. Theweak magnetic capacity of this motor was analyzed and discussed, and the machine wasoptimized during the same time, so as to the comparison between the optimized resultsand the ones before. Simulation and computing on its performance was conducted indetail as well. Secondly, under different operating conditions of the ferrite permanentmagnet synchronous machine, iron loss and eddy current loss simulation and multi-fieldjoint simulation based on ANSYS Workbench were done. Subsequently, the calculatedresults were imported into the temperature field simulation to get the temperature fieldsimulations under various conditions. Furthermore, analysis of the stress fieldsimulation of the machine was conducted and respectively, a detailed simulationanalysis was carried out to estimate the radial stress and tangential stress under variousconditions. Last of all, the production process of750W radial ferrite permanent magnetsynchronous machine is introduced. When compared with each other, experimentalresults of no-load test, load test and parameter experiment with the small prototype isvery close to the simulation results. |
