As a very complicated manufacturing engineering, ship building is assembled andwelded by thousands of structure member. It has the characteristics of wide operation,mount of workload, more kinds of work and complicated installation etc. As a key in theprocess of shipbuilding, hull member assembly links hull design and hull manufacturing.And it is the important guarantee of boutique shipbuilding and improving the quality of ship.The emergence of virtual assembly solves the assembly problems during the product designand manufacturing process. And it becomes the development trend of manufacturingassembly technology. Therefore, further study the virtual assembly process planning of hullblock member has important significance for raising the ship building level, reducing thecost of product design and research, improving the working environment etc. In thisbackground, focusing on virtual assembly process planning, the main research content andmethod of this paper is as follows:First of all, it introduces comprehensively about the ship-building technology whichincludes the method and way of ship-building, the division of hull block, production designcode and the precision management of ship-building etc. They help us have a goodknowledge system of hull structure construction process.Secondly, based on the study and summarisation on the existing assembly model, thispaper introduces the method of fuzzy clustering analysis to get the child assembly modulefor the complicated structure in ship. Then it puts forward the hierarchical assemblyinformation model. On this basis, this paper analysis the advantages and disadvantages ofthe present assembly sequence planning method. By studying the basic principle ofdisassembly method and in order to reduce the complexity of the sequence planning andavoid the combination explosion, this paper puts forward the hierarchical disassemblymethod of assembly sequence based on integrating the assembly level, assembly constraintrelations, the basic parts selection, empirical knowledge reasoning etc. And this paper givesthe detail description by case. The introduction of advanced shipbuilding technologymethod is the optimization for original assembly scheme.Then, this paper analyzes the main factors which impact the evaluation of shipassembly sequence. In view of the fuzziness and uncertain of these factors, this paper puts forwards the secondary fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. It establishes thecomprehensive evaluation system and gives out the specific operation method to determinethe weight, alternative set, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and evaluation results. Then,combining with an example, we finally choose the best assembly scheme.Finally, putting the HB07ballast tank section of28000t oil ship which is built in ashipyard as an example, this paper makes the simulation of the optimization assemblysequence planning process of hull block in DELMIA virtual environment. It main includesbuilding and introducing the virtual assembly model, virtual assembly process planning andsimulation based on disassembly method, simulation analysis of the static and dynamicinterference, outputting process file etc. It verifies the correctness of this paper and providessupport for the feasibility of the method and solutions scheme by using DELMIA softwarein enterprise for design, simulation and optimization of manufacturing process.
