For the manufacture of large rotary work-pieces, the problem of highly accurate andefficient processing is needed to solve。Large rotational parts processing, shape and positionerror measurement is an important indicator for the inspection of such parts。This topic with the current technology status of online testing for marine large-diametercylinder, For the marine large-diameter cylinder that the diameter is468mm,the length is1742mm,design and development of an effective, practical form and position errors onlinedetection system, The core software of test system is the LabVIEW9.0of American NI thatis graphical virtual instrument,supporting hardware core for NI PXI bus chassis andinstallation, including data acquisition card Liner structures as the core of a virtualinstrument test system. This study’s highlights are:1. For the large diameter marine liner manufacturing’s situation, combined with themeasuring the theoretical model of the large rotary work-pieces, to analysis the cylinderliner online testing requirements, and propose the designing of the cylinder liner linedetection system, included the hardware design of the online testing system and the softwarefunction module designed.2. Design the sampling program of liner online detection system, and use the leastsquares method and the time domain three-point error separation to establish themathematical model of the cylinder liner straightness and roundness. With the developmentenvironment of LabVIEW9.0to write the liner straightness and the roundness measurementprocedure, this is in order to meet the processing requirements of the automation anddigitization.3. Planning the liner online hardware detection system and the modular design ofhardware. In the terminal of the measurement system using a laser displacement sensor tomeasure the cylinder liner surface shape and position errors parameters, and using the signalconditioning module to measure signal amplification and noise separation, and the datasignal can be recognized and converted into a data acquisition card, that is by the PC to thedata collection-card data for analysis.4. With the development environment of LabVIEW9.0, establish the man-machine testinterface, in the process of the shaped bit error testing, users can view the test resultsaccording to their needs. Completed the acquisition of test data and the test data analysismodule design, virtual instrument software LabVIEW9.0platform for measurement and analysis of the data management and storage.5. Build a hardware test systems, test program debugging, and the results ofverification. PXI bus chassis and installation, including data acquisition card as the core,sine curve as the excitation signal, the cylinder liner straightness and roundness error test,and compare the results with the measured results of the test system to verify the correctnessof the modeling method.
