Mini four-rotor aircraft is an new type of miniature unmanned aerial vehicles which havesimple mechanical structure, maneuvering flexibility and broad prospects for applicationbecome a new hotspot at home and abroad.The purpose of this paper is to design an autonomous flight of micro four-rotor aircraft incombination with the ground control station built into an experimental research platform ofMicro Four-rotor aircraft for further research and further optimize its software and hardware.This paper first introduces the basic structure of the micro four-rotor aircraft and inertialnavigation principles, on this basis, the paper preclude the use of modular design concept,design and development of the micro four autonomous rotorcraft flight control system withSTM32microcontroller core. To achieve miniaturization design of Four-rotor aircraft, thepaper make a detailed description of the hardware design ideas. According to the hardwarecircuit schematics and experimental research needs, designed the software of the next-bitmachine, and developed wireless communication agreement between the PC and next crew. Inthis system, the ground control station PC can accurately display the current aircraft flight inreal-time and control the aircraft’s flight and debugging of system parameters.Finally, the various functional modules of four experimental rotorcraft platforms weretested, the test proved that the Micro Four-rotor aircraft experimental platform to complete theassigned tasks and achieve the desired objectives. Then this paper pointed out theshortcomings and deficiencies of the existing flight control system and proposed next task.
