The Comprehensive Performance Of The Accumulator Tester-the Research And Design Of Charge System

The storage battery has been widely used in military, communications, railways, solarphotovoltaic generation and others fields which is used as a voltage-stable, portable storagedevice. Along with the requirements of the battery performance are increasing, whichrequires high accuracy, easy operation battery tester monitor the performance of storagebattery.Aiming at the request of storage battery manufacturers for battery testing, this paperdesigns the charging part of the comprehensive performance of battery tester based onC8051F020. The charging part of comprehensive performance of battery tester includes apower converter circuit, a charging control circuit, a data collection circuit and other circuits.The power MOSFET is used as the main component of the half bridge DC/DC convertercircuit and SG3525as the PWM wave generator to control the power MOSFET. TheC8051F020which is considered as the control center of the charging control circuit canachieve the function of charging control, A/D and D/A converting. Data collection circuitcollects the parameter of voltage and current during charging and discharging and uploads thedata to PC to process.The main part of the paper is to study and design a charging module based on half bridgeDC/DC convertor circuit which is controlled by SG3525, and design the parameter of themain circuit transformer. The other important task is to design the charging control modulewhich is based on C8051F020. The last task of the paper is to design a power MOSFET drivecircuit which has the function of protection and isolation.The main part of the design is tested and analyses the experimental data. The experimentshows that this system has a high data measurement accuracy，high stability and meet themanufacturer requirements.
