Application Of Bridge Landscape Aesthetics In Landscape Design Of Chengdu Two Loop Overhead In BRT Project

Document at home and abroad, focusing on introducing the development new transportation corridor of a city, but also a new form of public space, a symbol of the city in the forefront of art, science and technology capacity. It is the main content of this paper to explain, for Elevated BRT, how to integrate into the urban environment, how to embody the characteristics and culture of the urban areas, how to reflect the people-oriented landscape with achieving sustainable development at the same time.By means of field research, literature review and relevant case, we regard the process of finding the coherent interest of Elevated BRT as an entry point to the landscape design. This paper creatively applies the bridge landscape aesthetics to analyze and construct the Elevated BRT landscape system. Besides, three elements:function, the environment, aesthetic landscape constitute the Elevated BRT combining with the bridge landscape CI, the concept of ecological flow, behavioral psychology and other related theoretical concept. Moreover, we consider those theories as a theoretical foundation for urban the elevated BRT landscape design and we carry out the research from three aspects:(1) the function of the bridge landscape (2) the bridge landscape of environmental design (3) the bridge landscape aesthetics."Source","Sink" and the concept of ecological flow are proposed. In the mean time, on the basis of those ideas, it needs analyzing the viewing line of sight of the elevated BRT project, its perspective and space variation concentrating on behavioral psychology.By studying theories above, we are able to conclude from the design principles and application methods which are suitable for elevated the BRT landscape design, then, form a set of operational significance the elevated BRT landscape design theory models and the specific implementation method. Finally, more theoretical results are applied to the guidance of the Second Ring Road, Chengdu elevated BRT landscape construction. Here comes the strategy:to meet the access, security, economic development, and integration into the cultural and ecological psychology departure from human behavior, build a corridor with low-carbon, low maintenance costs and people-oriented ecological and cultural based. Make segmented CI for special design, and use it in the platform, on the pier, comedy culture shaping etc; To build Chengdu Road ecological system, it demands to propose specific measures for implementation and plant configuration program. Simultaneously, for different spatial location, it requires to properly design space in accordance with people’s behavior psychology. In this paper, the design the elevated BRT landscape of the central and western regions have some reference value.
