Therefore, as Chinese people we should fully understand the culture in the tang dynasty,as well as excavate its essence to inherite and show it in landscape design.Nowdays the cities in our country are developing fastly and facing unprecedented challenges. In the process of development, just being blindly praise highly of foreign culture and lost our own local culture, thus lost the original connotation and character of themselves. Xi’an is the capital of the tang dynasty, therefore to enrich the connotation of landscape in xi’an by making use of the tang dynasty culture is just inherite and show the original connotation and character of xi’an itself.Xi’an tang paradise is the first theme park to comprehensive display the tang dynasty culture. The landscape in the tang paradise mainly reflect tang culture’s technical by building special landscape space to help tourists feel the culture in the tang dynasty and understand the true essence of culture in the tang dynasty, makes visitors feel that they are in tang dynasty.Through the literature analysis to study and summarize the classification and characteristics of culture in the tang dynasty. The Culture in tang dynasty is rich and colorful with brilliant achievements, which contains a lot. This article mainly talk about construction culture, food culture, clothing culture, emperor culture, female culture, poetry culture, religion culture, folk culture, singing and dancing culture, imperial examination science, foreign culture, children culture, science and technology culture, and summarize the characteristics of various aspects.It also researched and summarized the necessity, principle, design methods and problems needing attention of the Tang culture in landscape design. The necessities are:It can embody the characteristic culture of xi’an, can foil the culture atmosphere, what’s more, it also conducive to the development of the Tang culture and its innovation. The principles are:variety, authenticity and modernity. Based on landscape semiotics theory to study landscape design cultural expression and design technique, which includes the following steps:data collection, information work, element extraction, symbolization, and symbols application in the landscape design. In the process, we need to pay attention to the contradiction between tradition and modern issues. Only the integration of traditional culture and modern elements, can work out the landscape and leave a sign of time.Through instance analysis, field investigation and research of Tang Paradise, we got that in what way the Tang culture items in it (includes buildings culture, food culture, clothing culture, emperor culture, female culture, poetry culture, religion and folk culture, singing and dancing culture, the imperial examination culture, diplomatic culture, children culture, science and technology culture, the colors and patterns) were shown and inherited. We can’t deny that there are some flaws about the Tang culture inheritance in Tang Paradise. Such as the experimental activities’ participation is not enough, and regional landscape is not harmonious, lack of Tang style in management.Through the research of Tang Paradise, we got some inspirations on Tang gardens’ inheritance:diversity of landscape combined with typical cultural symbols to express the cultural connotation, traditional and modern organic combination in order to reveal cultural theme, national and the world community to carry forward the cultural essence.Based on the Tang culture, this paper made meaningful discussion and gave its own ideas about Tang culture and its application and inheritance. |
