Solar power generation technology is widely used in the world because energyproblem has becoming more and more serious. As an important mobile power supplyequipment, Power generation car could play a vital role when face with naturaldisasters and emergencies. The development and research of Solar Power Vehiclecombined Solar power generation technology with Power generation car, this studyhas important application value in engineering field.Folding Solar Panel Structure is an important part of Solar Power Vehicle, at thesame time, it is the main energy conversion equipment, its structure property has asignificant influence on the development and research work of Solar Power Vehicle.Folding Solar Panel Structure is a kind of large machinery, it has a very complexstructure. The main purpose of this paper is to research the dynamics performance ofunfold process by means of Virtual Prototype Technology. The major research worksare as follows:Simplified Folding Solar Panel Structure reasonably, three-dimensional modeledfor the main components and assembled by means of UG, imported the model intoADAMS and established system virtual prototype, then, a dynamic simulation andanalysis on the system virtual prototype was carried through. The simulation andanalysis results indicate the main components dynamic response and parameterschange trend during the unfold process of Folding Solar Panel Structure.Combined UG、ANSYS with ADAMS, carried through a collaborative modelingand simulation for unfold arm structure and movable trestle structure. Check thestructure’s intensity and use security by finite element analysis.Counted unfold arm structure and movable trestle structure as flexible structures,established a rigid-flexible coupling dynamic simulation model and carried out adynamics simulation analysis for Cheng-gan subsystem rigid-flexible coupling model.Compare the simulation results with rigid body model simulation results.Virtual prototype technology is used to achieve the unfold process of FoldingSolar Panel Structure and obtain Structure dynamic characteristics. The results of thispaper can provide a reference basis for the analysis of dynamic simulation of largescale structure such as Folding Solar Panel.
