As a key device of fluid control equipment, the butterfly valve has been widely usedin electricity power, water, petroleum, metallurgy and other industries, the large diameterhigh pressure double sealing butterfly valve design has achieved some research at present,but optimization is still relatively small, so combination of optimization theory and finiteelement method (FEM) in this type product has significance of theory and engineeringapplication case. Through differentiation and reduce cost for product will promote thefuture development in this industry, in this dissertation, make a comprehensively researchfor a specific projects in this type butterfly valveFirstly, Research he structure of the butterfly valve through read relevant documentsin this filed, and then introduces the industry trends and structural optimization methodapplication in valve design status at present;Secondly, use finite element analysis software Solidworks/Simulation to calculator thepreliminary design product in project conditions, test its pressure strength and seal,research the method of analysis constrain and loading, according the stress anddisplacement contours to optimization the structure, lightweight products, reduce the costof product, combined with optimized topology optimization theory for the structure of thevalve disk, and then use flow simulation carried out the butterfly valve fluid analysis, toachieve the product’s weight and reduce the flow resistance coefficient;Finally, Testing and inspection the finally optimization product, use strain gauge tostrain test and evaluate of the valve body, and then compare and analysis the strain valvewith the finite element calculator, finally got the conclusion that the FEA result is highprecision, keep the same with the fact test, the result meet the design requirements, soduring the design process, the correct test finite element analysis can be used instead thetesting. Other items of the finally product testing and inspection standards and designrequirements are met.According to the research, in this dissertation, through optimization the structure of alarger-diameter high pressure double seal butterfly in a specific conditions, investigate amethod analysis and verification for this type product in pressure and seal test, these meanare helpful to this type butterfly valve in actual production.
