Sonar transmitter, as one of the important part of the sonar system, its performanceadvantages and disadvantages, and the design is good or bad for the entire water sound systemhas an extremely important impact, the different system transmitter requirements are not thesame. The paper is mainly to design acoustic positioning transmitters used for the ultra-shortbaseline positioning system and sonar transmitter used for images sonar system. Acousticpositioning transmitters have many characteristics. For example, small size, high efficiency, capable of firing a high-power pulse signal as well as the long-pulse signal, and positioningand communication functions can be achieved; imaging sonar transmitter requirements for the16-phase control transmitter circuit, can be achieved phased requirements.Theoretically discussed the sonar transmitter key issues in the design process, and furtherexperiments to perfect. Which analyzes the basic characteristics of the MOSFET, theMOSFET drivers for the characteristics of the circuit, the principle of the selection of theMOSFET; the MOSFET power analysis, the heat of the MOSFET, discussed transformerdesign, absorption circuit design, the impedance matching problem. On this basis, inaccordance with the requirements of the ultra-short baseline positioning system, designed andimplemented with positioning and communication features acoustic positioning transmitter. Inaddition, according to the concrete requirements of the imaging sonar system, combined withthe realization of the principle of phased signal, design and implementation of a16imagesonar transmitter based on FPGA hardware platform, including the design of FPGA hardwarecircuits and software programs as well as16-channel transmitter circuit design, combinedwith the modern theory of electromagnetic compatibility, isolation taken reasonable PCBlayout, filtering and other measures to avoid the noise and signal interference. Finally, the lab debug and tank experiments. The experimental results show that: the thetransmitter system works well to meet the design specifications and requirements.
