Marine gas turbine combined power plant is an important research direction for develop-pment of marine power in the future. The advantage of this kind of power plant are thatadaptation to a large range of operating conditions, mobility and high density of power. Theresearch on marine gas turbine combined power plant has a important significance. Thedissertation make marine gas turbine combined power plant as the subject for study andanalyzes the key process of twin-engine parallel running, load splitting and switch control.Dual combined gas turbine and gas turbine power plant and twin-engine parallel controller aredesigned after proposing the key control point of running process. The research work carriedout in this article is as followsFirstly, in this paper, the control points of the gas turbine combined power plant areraised from three aspects of ship propulsion joint control program, gas turbine controlcharacteristics, as well as ship propulsion device matching characteristics. Design of parallelpower feedback control strategy based on gas turbine speed regulation system that areachieved gas turbine. Parallel running stability control of the process, balancing of powerdistribution and the load for any proportion rata are also studied.Secondly, following the design concept of module, raise the hardware designing schemeof marine combined gas turbine and gas turbine power plant based on the thorough analysis ofthe design requirement of controller. The hardware platform include the least system, powersupply module, CAN communication module signal gathering and signal input and outputmodule and user interface module. The whole function could realize the control not only inthe engine room but also remote control in centralized-control room. The hardware platformhas the characteristics of well expanded function, low cost and easy to maintenance.Thirdly, the function of controller for marine gas turbine combined power plant isdesigned. Through setting up the simulation operation strategy module in theMatlab/Simulink, as well as using the rapid control code building technology in the Matlab/Embedded Target for TI C2000development environment, the core control software has beencompleted by using LabVIEW Touch Module for WinCE development environment to program the user interface software, the function of running monitor and the twin-engineparallel running, fluctuation, switch control can be realized.Lastly, The simulation module of marine gas turbine combined propulsion is set and istested in designing the Semi-physical experimental platform based on the Matlab/Real TimeWindows Target. Experiments which include the twin-engine parallel running, load splitting,switch control with parallel operation controller in loop are made. The result shows that theparallel operation controllers has a good control effect and satisfies the requirements ofpractically using.
