Study On Current Situation And Development Strategies Of Road Greening In Baohe District, Hefei

Urban road green space is an important of urban green space system, it can reducetraffic pollution and improve the road environment. Urban road greening is the window ofthe city, showing a city’s cultural、style and taste. Many cities at home and abroad paymore and more attention to the construction of road greening. Since starting to constructHefei to be a modern lakeside city, Baohe district condensed too much attention, no doubt,Baohe district ushers new developmental opportunities, it will lead the rise of Hefei andAnhui province. The construction of urban ecological environment is an integral part of theleapfrog development in Baohe district, so it will not ignore urban road greeningconstruction in the future development.Through on-the-spot investigation, the cross section types, green tree species andgreen configuration modes of52representative city roads in Baohe district were observedand recorded, the researched road green space included the pedestrian greenbelt, greenbeltbetween motorway and bicycle lane, the central greenbelt, the roadside greenbelt and thetraffic island. Basing on ecology theory, aesthetic theory, color theory and environmentcognition theory, the article organized the data and sums up the advantages anddisadvantages about current situation of road greening in Baohe district. Aiming at theproblems existing in the current situation, the article presents a series of countermeasuresand verifys this conclusion by the case analysis.Among the surveyed52road greening section forms, there are23one-board–two-belts,3two-board-three-belts,12three-board-four-belts,10four-board-five-belts and4special forms.There are23species trees in the pedestrian greenbelt, plant species are quite few, thetree pool and the green belt are used in the old districts, whlie the new districts mainly uesthe tree pool. There are40species trees in greenbelt between motorway and bicycle lane,the abundant configuration modes are made up by big trees, hedge plants and grass in olddistricts, the shrub layer is increased in new districts. There are32species trees in thecentral greenbelt, using big trees, shrubs and grass to form stratified community structure.The roadside greenbelt has64species trees, the plant species are variety and theconfiguration modes are diversity. There are38species trees in the traffic island.There are some problems in the current situation of road greening in Baohe district.The road greening are damaged seriously, vertical greening remains to be strengthened,regional culture are used less, human consciousness is weak, maintenance management isnot strong enough. The article conclude some development countermeasures, it includesbuilding corridor network, preparing the system planning, digging the existing conditionsto increase the amount of road green, promoting tree species selection and plantconfiguration, abundanting plant species to highlight the seasonal landscape, combiningwith the history and culture to show city characteristic, advocating universal participationand strengthening the maintenace.
