In order to enhance the portability and smart features of ultrasonic testing equipment, a portable ultrasonic concrete pile foundation detection system is designed in the paper, based on the summary and analysis of the capability and portability features which the system should have, proposed the separation of lower and upper computer system design. The lower employed the high performance TMS320F28335as master module chip, which achieved a detection signal transmitter and receiver, amplification, processing, graphic display, defect judge, as well as test result storage, and playback. Use digital signal processing technology improves the signal-to-noise ratio and the reliability of the test, also laid a good foundation for imaging test. With Android Tablet as the upper platform, through the well-designed human-computer-interface application and USB communications cable for the connection channel, the operation is flexible and convenient. Optimization design of the power management and high-voltage set-up module ensures the provision of stable, clean power supply for the system and high energy efficiency, stability of the ultrasonic high-voltage transmitting. Comprehensive analyzed the lower DSP program development and the upper Android application development, the packet checksum and retransmission mechanism ensure the interaction of normal and stable.In order to ensure the system meets the design requirements, tested the whole functional modules and machine performance, the system can work properly within a voltage range of9V-16V, and the high-voltage transmitter pulse-width is adjustable to ensure a different frequency transducers with the best emitting energy. Experiments are carried out on concrete-grouted pile, the sound-time accuracy reaches0.1μs and its average standard deviation is below2%, the defects detection are accurate and reliable. The experiments verified that the detector is easy to use and can work stably with small error, and has broad application prospect in pile detecting.
