Method of detecting concrete by ultrasonic wave has been widely used in a number of projects, which is a more economical and reliable method to test pile integrity.It can find the location and size of defects accurately and evaluate the severity to provide the basis to deal with the defective pile, meanwhile not destroy the structure of the pile. Although method of detecting the quality of the pile by ultrasonic wave transmission is a relatively mature technology,in practical application,it needs further study.Relying on to projects and simulation, this paper analyzes the ultrasonic wave transmission method as follows:establishing correspondence of the acoustic parameters of ultrasonic wave and defects of the sample by using simulation of pile defects indoors to observe and analyze detection curves of pile defects; establishing a comprehensive evaluation model by introducing the method of fuzzy mathematics, and bringing in wave into the evaluation system to make assessment results more comprehensive, reasonable and reliable; establishing the correspondence of the acoustic parameters and defect type initially by combining related information and testing practice to summarize the acoustic characteristics of several defects because of different types of defects of the pile having different acoustic characteristics; verifying whether the distribution of velocity meet normal distribution based on statistics, analysis and research of a large number of test data; analyzing and summarizing factors which affect the strength of the concrete of the pile by searching documentations.
