Based on different size large pressure vessel head of the demand of the rapid, efficient, high precision detection, mainly aimed at the inner surface of the head geometry size measurement and control, on the basis of predecessors’exploration, sum up experience and advantages, this paper proposes a laser ranging technology is used to head the inner surface of rotary convenient to realize general two-dimensional scanning detector.Laser head detector mainly using laser ranging principle, coupled with stepper motor, auxiliary and control of computer technology, realize the scan error between the fitting curve and the standard curve measurement. According to the characteristics of the detection system, based on pulsed laser ranging principle, design and processing detection device, configure corresponding equipment form a complete measurement system. In Visual Basic6.0development tools, software of the measuring system is presented the MFC interface is created, the laser sensor and step motor with two different serial port connected to the computer peripherals respectively, using computer technology to complete the laser ranger scanning point data communication, wireless data communication module, the scanning motor drive and positioning, open and information transmission, laser scanning point cloud data fitting, and other functions, complete the head general laser detector mechanical structure and software structure of the overall layout.1.The purpose of this paper is using the laser detector head in two-dimensional plane surface shape measurement, according to the relationship between readings for distance and Angle measurement system will control in polar coordinate plane, realizes the polar coordinates and XY two-dimensional rectangular coordinate system transformation, the scanning point cloud data least-square fitting calculation, calculate the corresponding characteristic data mean and standard deviation, so as to realize large size2d shape fitting.2. Mainly discusses the system of thought, and the overall structure, the test method about head’s geometry of the inner surface, and the system detection principle has carried on the theoretical analysis and feasibility evaluation, and establish the corresponding mathematical model and analysis.3. Laser detection system error in the measurement and operation process were studied, such as measuring the time delay, different reflectivity material, laser scanning center consistency on the laser ranging error effect on the corresponding analysis. 4. In view of the laser sensor measuring system, tripod structure design, the motor servo control, photoelectric encoder principle and technology, wireless data communication module and so on has made the detailed introduction. Among them, the use of PRO/E3d software simulation to realize the subject of parts of the structure of the mechanical system layout and design; With Visual Basic6.0at the same time in order to establish the MFC interface development tools, implementation of laser sensor, wireless module implements and servo system control, serial communication, solve and complete different inner surface geometry size head deviation of non-contact detection.5. Through to the inner diameter size of800mm head to test and analyze the experiment result is perfect, at the same time, is also a detection device accuracy and feasibility of laser head for validation.
