Nowadays, with more and more applications of UPS, the requirements for its performance get improved. Except for its main circuit, the control of UPS is very important to achieve Perfect Performance. With the appearance of the high-capacity DSP controller, the all-digital-control to the UPS comes true. Good output waveforms of UPS-inverters have not only the good steady-state performance, but also the fast dynamic response. It is very difficult for single control strategy to satisfy the two requirements at the same time. Thus, compound control strategy is a developing direction because the strategy can take good advantage of every part while avoiding its default.This paper mainly focuses on research of the core part of the UPS system--inverter system, Introduces the working principle of single phase full bridge inverter topology, and detailed described the PI regulation control and repetitive control with the combination of compound control strategy which this system uses. And t has made the simple introduction about he dead zone existing in the power device effect and compensation principleThis topic focus on the research of the part on the system of UPS inverter. Due to the studies of this topic is30kw moderate-power UPS inverter system, the traditional isolation power frequency inverter structure is adopted. This structure has good resistance to impact load capacity, and input/output is isolated to each other, have good electrical properties. During the research of this topic, there give out a detail introduction about the structure of the important power components selection and parameter calculation, control parts, drive, monitor display part of the hardware design.This article also introduces the software realization method of the system. After discussed the software control system and sequence control, the software flow chart of main program are also given in this paper, and the main function modules are analyzed in detail, and give out the correspondence program flow chart.At the end of this research, an electricity debugging on the UPS inverter part had been done, and this system will be the problem and the solution out of the list. And also the experiment waveforms through each part of the process of testing are analyzed and summarized, For example:SPWM waveform analysis and test of the dynamic response and stability of the output voltage, phase lock waveform and THDI analysis, and finally gave out the waveform analysis about the switch between the mains and battery power supply. Experimental results show that the system hardware circuit structure and the adopt of the compound control system consisted of PI regulation control and repetitive control are completely meet the requirement in the use of moderate-power UPS inverter system.
