Boiler is thermal power equipment in oil refinery, chemical, power and most of other industries commonly used, because it has much controlled parameters, so the boiler is a complex object. In order to ensure the safety production, in the numerous controlled parameters, the boiler drum water level is a very important control parameter. Because the control has the characteristics of large time delay, nonlinear, unstable, drum level control requirements, traditional PID control can not meet, in urgent need of new intelligent control algorithm, effective control of the boiler drum water level.Based on the classical control theory, combining the characteristics of fuzzy control and neural network respectively, the traditional PID control algorithm and fuzzy neural network are combined, and designed a boiler drum water level fuzzy neural controller based on PID. It can optimize the parameters of membership functions and the output of the network connection weights, to update the adjustment of PID controller online. This paper presents the boiler drum water level fuzzy neural-PID controller structure and general algorithm based on. And in the three impulse boiler drum water level control system of the traditional PID was simulated by MATLAB, and analyzed the performance of the two kinds of control algorithms. The simulation results show that the boiler drum water level fuzzy neural controller based on-PID compared to other controller has good control effect and broad prospects of development.
