With the growing scarcity of island resources, the exploitation of the Marine resources has been in boom years. The exploitation tool of marine energy resources is the marine drilling platform, in the long process of its construction and using, due to the complexity of marine environment and the platform structure, in addition, suffering sea wind loads and wave thereof for a long time, these will directly affect the safety and durability of offshore platform stability. When external load is imposed on the offshore platform, pile legs will pass the load to the pile shoe, if the load is extreme big, it probably lead to sliding instability of pile shoe, and bring huge economic losses. Therefore, we must deeply do theoretical research and numerical simulation. In this paper, taking the pile shoe of offshore platform as research objects, based on the American society of naval architects and marine engineers specification (SNAME), classical mechanics theory and finite element software ABAQUS, calculating the interaction between the fan-swing spudcan foundation and soil in different geological data. Based on this research, discussed bearing capacity and working feature of the fan-swing spudcan of offshore platforms in the marine environment. The main research works are as follow:1. According to the structure forms of spudcan foundation, geometric characteristics and constraint form at the bottom of the pile shoe, simplifying the pile shoe reasonably.2. Using the Det Norske veritas specification (DNV) and the American society of naval architects and marine engineers specification (SNAME) separately calculate the bearing capacity and penetration depth of pile shoe fundament in three different geological datum, and then analyzing its stability.3. Using China Classification Society (CCS) specification and DNV specifications (DNV8.2.5), respectively calculating the capacity against sliding of pile shoe fundament in three different geological datum, and comparing the results with the result of finite element software ABAQUS, Stability analysis, and then analyzing its stability.4.Calculating spudcan foundation settlement by layer-wise summation method and degree of consolidation by the Terzaghi theory, and then proceeding numerical simulation by finite element software ABAQUS. 5. Respectively using test, specification and experience method to obtain the coefficient K of subgrade and comparing these methods.
